Diarrhea from Metamucil?

Anyone ever experience painful diarrhea from Metamucil? I’ve taken it before pregnancy and never had diarrhea but when I took it last night I felt like I was being punched in the gut. Maybe it was something I ate? Anyway....what should I use for constipation that isn’t painful??

Yes and I never took it again after. It gave me horrendous stomach cramps

Miralax for me has never been painful, I had to take it before pregnancy once a day to stay regular. It’s pregnancy safe

I've never taken it, but it's on the pregnancy safe medication list? I was just told to drink more water and eat fibrous foods, like spinach and oatmeal. I was given an updated medication list a few days ago, but I haven't really looked at it. Third trimester basically solved the constipation issue.

I drink my kids Gerber apple/prune juice if it’s bad 😅 just one of the little 4 oz bottles usually does the trick.
