Blood around umbilical stump?!

Totally shocked me but I just picked him up to snuggle and it fell off completely 😳

Forgive me for my ignorance because this didn’t happen with my daughter but our son’s stump still hasn’t fallen off yet (he’s 11 days old), isn’t looking like it’s ready to anytime soon, and I’ve just noticed during a diaper change that it’s starting to bleed. Is this normal? I’m currently waiting on a call back from his doctor’s office about it but figured I’d see if anyone on here could provide a bit of peace of mind.

And before anyone asks, no, it hasn’t been messed with at all. No tugging (unless his clothing may be doing it?) or anything on it. Not even getting it wet at all during his baths.
