How can my hcg levels possibly double?

So I'm 9wks 4d and got tested yesterday, my levels were at 220468. They're supposed to double every 2 days but how on earth is that supposed to happen? 440k seems ridiculously high and no charts I've seen even go that high.

They only double in the beginning. Then they just need to have a steady rise. I was told a 60% increase as you near 8 weeks is good. Then they level off

At that high of a level they most likely will not double. Once they're that high the doubling rate is much much slower! If you google it you will find the hcg numbers and doubling times change as the hcg increases. Since you're starting so high if it didn't double that would be normal. That's a VERY high hcg.
