My coworker is pregnant and due literally 5 days before my due date would have been. I’m trying to be happy for her, but it’s really difficult. I was excited at first that we were pregnant at the same time and due around the same time, but now it’s just a constant reminder of what I lost. She announced today to everyone we work with and I have just been crying all day. I’ve learned that grief is not linear, but it comes in waves and hits you sometimes when you least expect it. Hopefully over time this will get easier.
