I had my 12 week scan on 7th January and today I’ve received 2 letters. 1 is for an appointment to see a specialist multiple pregnancy midwife and says we will talk through my plan of care. It also says that after my dating scan my next scan will be at 20 weeks. The next letter is the appointment for a scan when I’ll be 20 weeks.

I have been told my twins are fraternal so are the lowest risk in terms of types of twin pregnancies, but I still thought I would be scanned again before 20 weeks.

Does anyone have any information or experience on this please?
