Baby shower

Hi everyone! I am looking for some opinions. Be honest please :)

My husband and I adopted our first child. We didn’t have a shower or anything BUT people were beyond generous. We received money and gifts non stop prior to being matched right up until he came home. He is 7 weeks old. I was never supposed to have biological children. We struggled with infertility. Wellll... low and behold I am now 9 weeks pregnant. My babies will be 9 months apart.

My question is since people were so generous with our son is it appropriate to have a shower for the new baby? I won’t need a lot but will need some stuff. I am feeling so torn. I don’t want people to think I am greedy. Please help! Thank you ♥️♥️♥️
