okay so i’m 18 my bf is 20.. he was at my house today which is the first time with my mom being there. him and i put new sheets on my bed and made it up. later i got tired bc i work nights so i wanted a nap him and i went to lay down ON my bed he didn’t have a blanket, i did AND THE DOOR WAS OPEN. she was saying it was inappropriate and disrespectful we weren’t even cuddling or anything. 
i’m so confused because one part of me feels bad bc i’m my mother’s child, & im in her house. 
but then again i’m like okay chill bc i’m grown, we’ve been dating for almost two years btw), and it’s not like we were just fucking ?? i really don’t think there’s a problem..

I mean it’s her house her rules if you don’t like it you can leave. Is it fair? Eh that’s debatable. Hell I’m 20 in a month 26w pregnant we have been  together for almost 2 years and my man still has to sleep on the couch when we come to my parents to visit. I don’t even live at home, I moved way for college and me and my man live together at school. But it’s her house her rules so I just go with it.

she’s not crazy she’s a mom, it’s her house it doesn’t matter if you’re 18 lol. i wasn’t even allowed to have any boys in my room, door open or closed,  no matter how old i was. i still lived in her house so i had no say in the matter.

that’s how my mom would react as well. i personally don’t think it is a big deal at all, but i can’t speak for our parents. my mom and i have very different opinions on a lot of things, and i’m sure it’s the same with you and your mom. sometimes you just have to deal with it for a while. (i can’t wait to move out because of it)

It’s her house. My mom had the same rule, even when I was 21 and home during summers from college. If you don’t like it you can go somewhere else or move out
