Cleft lip or Palate????

Question

After staring at my babies 27 week ultrasound.  I noticed no other babies have their mouth partially open like mine! Does it look like he may have cleft lip? Or I'd it normal for their mouth to be like this?

Pretty sure that's normal. If that was at a doctor's office then they probably would have told you. My daughter had her mouth open for one but she didn't have any facial deformities. In her 15 week, it looks like there isn't any space between her lips and nose, but it was just the angle.

My baby was opening and closing his mouth practicing breathing and swallowing. I think it's normal. My ultrasound tech even said no cleft lip or palate.

Mine had its mouth open! I don't have a clear image to show you, but at our 20 week we saw the face full on so would have seen cleft lip.

I think they just caught your baby at the right time.  Babies can yawn, swallow fluid, and suck on their hands in the womb. I wouldn't worry too much.
