Is it bad to fast while pregnant?

I go to church and we have a day every month where we unite and fast. Now that I’m pregnant I don’t know if it’s safe for my baby...

Yes, it’s bad to fast while pregnant. Your church will understand and if they don’t then you need a new one lol.
 
You should still attend and be present, offer prayers etc but I’d definitely not fast during a pregnancy. Your baby has to grow and to do that you have to sustain a healthy diet.

I’m Muslim and pregnant women are exempt from fasting in Ramadan if they fear for their own health and the health of their baby. I chose not to fast during my pregnancy. God understands and rewards the expectant mother for her struggles and hardship in carrying her child :)

You can do certain fasts.  Not from all food, ect. But it can be considered a fast if you say love sugar, and fast from sugar for the fasting and prayer time.

From the Jewish perspective, pregnant women are not required to fast (although many do still choose to, depending on how far along they are). Your and your baby's health is much more important. 
If you do choose to fast: keep some snacks in your purse, and eat or drink something if you start to feel sick or light-headed. Fasts are never more important than your health.

Don’t fast while pregnant. It’s bad for you and the baby. If you don’t want to tell people you’re pregnant say you can’t “for medical reasons”

I wouldn't, you and the baby both need nutrition. I think God understands and would want you to do what's best for the baby, and your church community should feel the same way.
