I’ve been having issues with a coworker. I’m a hairdresser. The first thing that happened was, I asked her a question about a haircut, and she went off on me saying that I should be asking her questions and it’s not her responsibility if I mess up. This time, it was my turn to do a service, but she hadn’t had anyone yet, and so I did the service. Then she proceeds to tell me off about it in front of clients, tell me that now every time I something wrong she’s going to text our district leader, and make sure I get in trouble or get fired. She also goes to talk about how I’m selfish, greedy, deviant and mean, and gave me an ultimatum to “change my ways” or “my time will come” and “it’s either you or me that’s not going to be here anymore.” I’ve told my boss everything and explained to her what happened, and my boss is very unhappy with her and says that she will make sure that we don’t work at the same time. This woman is 54 years old and is only there 3 days a week and works 4 hour shifts each day. It’s getting to the point where I hate my job. I want to transfer to a different salon or find a new job but I just don’t know what to do. Am I in the wrong at all?
