When do I test?!

I’m going crazy waiting. So I’m still breastfeeding my 11 month old, and haven’t had a period since getting pregnant 🙌🏻. However New Year’s eve hubs and I had unprotected sex. Could count on one hand the number of times we’ve had sex since our munchkin arrived last Feb, but that night I wanted to and we were not prepared (and it felt great! I don’t think sex has felt like that since getting pregnant). Anywho today I’ve had some mild cramping and idk if I’m starting my period finally or if I’m going to be expecting my 3rd. So I’m wondering if this bleeding doesn’t get heavier or change to red, then when can I test???
