I've done 3 weeks of the PIO (progesterone) shots now - first for the prep for an FET and now continuing because we got the BFP. the past few days the shot area is getting lumpier and harder and there is seepage from the needle and a fair amount of blood. Is this normal? I massage the area, warm it before the shot, and check the needle area before I press the PIO in.....I'm trying to be positive that this could be another 5-7 weeks of these as the pain is starting to build up.
