Sooo around 9:30 I went to go pee and noticed blood in my underwear. More than spotting, but not full on period flow. So I called my midwife. She asked about fetal movement and told her I haven’t felt her much (I’ve been running around allll day cleaning). So she wanted me to go in to be checked. Okie dokie, fine by me.

We monitor the baby and they hook me up. Apparently I’m having contractions. Like, quite a bit, less than 5 minutes apart. I guess I finally know what a contraction feels like—nothing. It’s seriously like tightening my abs, that’s what it feels like. My midwife is saying, “You can’t feel those?” I say, not really...maybe just feels like my abs are tightening. So they keep me hooked up a bit longer, give them a urine sample, and now I’m walking. I’ve been walking since 11:00, and they want to to walk until 1:00! I’m so tired, I just want to go to bed 😂

I’m a teacher and I just requested a sub for half a day tomorrow. Hopefully this little girl stays inside because I want her to cook longer. I will say though, there have been two babies born since I’ve been here and they are as cute as a button! I actually got to hear one of them being pushed out! Anyway, I’m extremely bored and thought writing down my little trip to the hospital would distract me. Only 40 more minutes of walking left...but who’s counting?! 😉
