When’s everyone starting their mat leave ?

I’m leaving at like 35 weeks now I was only gunna leave 2 weeks before my due date but work haven’t helped me I’m on my feet all day running up and down stairs so I’m going earlier ! There is much easier jobs at my place but they just won’t give me one 🤷🏽‍♀️
Also this is UK mat leave I’m gunna do 12 month - 3 unpaid

I’m leaving at 34 weeks. I’m a nurse and my work is very physically demanding and mentally draining. I’m in Australia and will have a year off so don’t mind leaving a bit earlier to look after myself and my baby 🤷‍♀️

Gosh I’m jealous of all of y’all! I was 39 + 4 days, finished work on a Friday and went into labor the following Monday night. It was hard working that long, due to constantly being in my feet. I’m a social worker in a hospital. I get 10 weeks unpaid leave.

I started mine today at 33+5. I only have 30 days left til my scheduled c section and I’m excited to finally be able to relax. Well sort of lol.

I’m leaving next week when I’ll be 34+5. I’m in the UK too. I will be taking 2 and a half weeks of paid annual leave and then starting Mat leave straight after on the 11th Feb for 12 months. I sit at a desk all day but I have really early starts and a long commute, I can’t do it anymore!

I’m leaving at 37 weeks. I get three months, unpaid. 😥

I am working up until I deliver or until I cant take it anymore. I will then be off for about 9 week up to 12 weeks depending on how I feel. My hubby is a stay at home dad he drives for uber to help out but I am the sole provider for our family.
