Does anyone else’s’ 8/9 month old still have no teeth?

Just want to see how common it is or if I should be concerned!

So my April baby has teeth but my first baby didn’t get his first tooth until he was 12mo. The dentist said it just meant his baby teeth would likely be in there longer and it wasn’t anything to be concerned with.

My daughter is finally cutting 2 that started in the past 2 weeks. 
The average age is 6-10 months, but I’ve heard of babies not having any teeth until after their 1st birthday so you have plenty of time before you need to be concerned.

The Ped said it’s “better”. He said the later the baby teeth come in, the later the adult teeth come in. And it’s better to get the adult teeth later because the kid will take better care of them.

My son turned 9 months on dec 25th and he just had his first tooth come in on jan 12th! So it all depends on the child :)

My daughter just cut her first tooth last Friday, tooth #2 I saw yesterday and has #3 right behind 😫. She was 9 months on Jan. 2nd

My nephew was 10 months and bam started all at once. Both mine had/have at least 4 by 8 months. Dr wasn't concerned either way!
