My boyfriend and I have been together 3yrs now. Hes been living at home with his dad basically this whole time. I mean he would come over and stay a lot, but he still lived there. We are getting married March 9th of this year. At first we were afraid to tell people because we knew people wouldnt like it because of our age. We are considered "too young" by most people. Well we started telling people. My family took it extermely well. I was very shocked, but his family (his dad and grandma) didnt. His grandma called and said "is she pregnant" (even tho we have been ttc our rainbow baby for a little while now, we havent told anybody) then she goes on and on about why he shouldn't do this. Then we finally tell his dad and he says "not gonna happen". We also told his dad that he would he moving in with me very soon. His dads response to that was "not gonna happen. I need help with the bills and stuff." Well hes been at my house for the last 3 days. We are waiting until his dad goes to work (his dad has been very abusive and has threatened him multiple times so we were afraid to try and do it while hes there) anyway I just honestly don't get why people cant be happy for us? I mean he started crying and saying he just wants to he happy. I just dont understand how a father can try and ruin his sons happiness. Also I told him if once we get his things if they show up here. I'm calling the cops. I'm not going to deal with that bullshit. I might be pregnant also (period is 7days late and had a faint pos at 5 days late) but any advice on how to handle this situation.
