Only at lunch and if it’s important. Something super important we email because he doesn’t have service in his office. We’re at work. We don’t need to talk to each other all day. We’ll catch up during dinner.

Husband is a CADD engineer and works in the office all day long. I'm a SAHM and we text often throughout the day. Just things about our day and other random things..

We don't only because he works a job now where he can't have his phone without risking it being damaged. His old job we did.

So I wouldn't say "all day long" or "just important stuff".

Nine of those options fit. I’ll send him cute pictures of our daughter or just to say hi (so, not essential stuff) but not all day long. Some days it’ll be one or two short text messages other days we’ll text more. But I still wouldn’t say it’s either essential messages only or all day long.

He works at an apartment complex and he is able to usually text me all day long. I'm a teacher so I text back frequently when the kids are doing something independently but it's harder for me to get around to it. Generally though, yes we both communicate through the work day 🤷🏼‍♀️

Depends. My husband works second shift so I only see him a couple hours a day if that during the week. He can only call or text on his breaks and lunch in his current position.  I work at an awesome place that as long as we keep it to a reasonable amount of time they don't care if we are texting or making phone calls.
