First period after stopping the pill?

I just finished my last packet of Tri-nessa. I'm switching to condoms and a diaphragm so I can get an idea of my cycle for when I ttc in the near future..

What was it like going off the pill for you? Did your next period come at the expected time? Was it somehow different? I've been on the pill for about 6 years now.

I didn't get one. I was pregnant haha! was trying but didn't expect it to happen so quickly.

My period came right when it usually did at the end of a pack but then I didn't get another for another 2 months. I had some breakthrough bleeding though, light enough to just wear a panty liner.

It depends on the person. Mine came just about when the glow app predicted. But my friend would get hers for a day then stop then very sporadic after that. She is taking precautions and talking with her doctor about when she is ovulating. I take my temperature every morning and it drops when i ovulate (I take it before I even get out of bed) so I assume my cycle is following the app via period and fertile window but I might get an ovulation test too when we are ready.

I've always had  a heavy flow and major cramps along with PMS. Every time I stop my birth control it goes back to that, so I definitely prefer staying on the pill
