Ok.... diva cups, yes or no?

I’ve had a diva cup for so long but have never used it!! So nervous to put it in and take it out and just not sure about the idea of it. Always have used tampons and then pads at night (my mom had toxic shock syndrome so I worry).. any tips or advice when it comes to soft cups or diva cups? Which line is best?

Just try it, you will be pleasantly surprised!! It takes a little time to get it in ok. Fold and put in and remember it doesn’t go in anywhere near as far as a tampon. It will feel like it’s very near the entrance but you’ll learn it’s location. Fold and put it and then manipulate it with your fingers around it till it feels comfortable. Cut the little dangly handle off, you don’t need it and it just rubs on the little shelf in you. 
To remove just pop your fingers around it and pull out slowly and keep it level. Your period blood is very gloopy and it won’t just spill out. It’s actually quite interesting seeing your blood go down the loo!! 
It doesn’t smell hardly at all, not like that tampon smell you get. Gross. 
You can take it out, wipe it with loo roll and pop it back it. It only needs a proper clean at night. Sleeping in it is fine. On my heaviest days I empty it a few times but on a normal day I can go all day and just sort it out before bed. 
Sorry if I’ve said too much but just wanted to help with the queries and worries most people have before trying it. My periods are now so different, they’re barely a hindrance at all and I even had my P on holiday and went in and out the sea.

I recommend trying the soft cups first, I found them easier to use and get accustomed to than the diva cup.
One good thing about cups is you can practice inserting and removing them without actually being on your period.

Maybe try it when you’re not on your period to get comfortable with it? I know a lot of people recommend soft cups too me, I’ve wanted to try it but I’ve been hesitant
