Is this normal after getting blood work? I’ve had blood work done before and never had a problem. This time it hurt SO bad and now it’s bruised

Just a blown vein. I find that it happens less to certain people if they use a butterfly needle instead of a regular one. Everyone’s veins are different. This has happened to me at least once and it’s important to know it’s a normal thing that happens. It doesn’t mean the person sucks at venipuncture.
