How many vaccines did your baby get?

My baby girl got 5 vaccines plus the oral one so I’m not sure if that’s too much? I kept reading that others got 3 which now I’m freaking out that maybe it was too much???? Her dr said some parents like to split the vaccines for another appt but bc my baby had a seizure she recommended she get all of them to have full protection. But now I’m worried

3 shots. DTaP, Hib, and PCV13
And the oral for rotavirus

Why would she recommend you get them all because your baby had a seizure?
I used to work in a nursing home and I had a nurse once tell me to only let my baby get max two shots at a time; they are so little and what is the rush of filling them with those shots so fast? My babies all have been vaccinated but all in due time. I just did the hep b with this baby at 7 weeks and will do the hep b second dose at his two month appointment. My pediatrician does not rush the shots and has them spread out so that they only get a couple at a time.

I’d be worried too. Where in nature would your kid contract 5 different things at once? I wouldn’t get them at the same time if you choose to get them. Personal choice though. Your kid your choice

Mine at 2 month appointment got 3 shots and oral one. They were combination ones they told me

Sometimes they are a combination vaccine. There could be 5 diseases in one vaccine instead of an individual disease. Just because they were poked more doesn’t mean they weren’t vaccinated for the exact same thing.

Ask your doctor if you have any concerns. Mine had 2 shots and the oral rotavirus, but the 2 shots were combo shots
