Doctor advice help!

Hayden • Mother to a beautiful little girl 🎀 and an angel 👼

I am looking to prove a point to my husband. I need your help! The following are a few things our pediatrician said today at our daughters 6 month checkup:

Start to give regular milk and juice with meals. It does not need to be diluted.

All babies should be sleeping through the night by 6 months. Some babies sleep through the night at 4 months so you’ve been doing this two months too long. (She wakes up once a night to eat)

There’s nothing she can’t eat at this point. Including all meat and fish.

Time to take away her pacifier.

She’s only waking up at night because she is trying to get you to come get her. Not that she has to eat.

She should only be nursing 4 times a day.

A bottle of formula or breastfeeding usually follows solid feedings

I will note that he has 40 years experience.

I will also note that he told us to give food at 4 months and when I mentioned that WHO recommends 6 months, he said he doesn’t listen to those recommendations.

What’s your thoughts on these things?
