30 min naps?

My 2 month old naps only last around 20-30 mins durning the day. From what I’ve read they are suppose to last atleast an hour (her naps use to last longer) anyone have an advice?

I’m following for advice also, my son is also 2 months (10 weeks Wednesday) and he’s been up since 6:30 am (currently 8:44 pm) and literally only napped for 2 hours. It’s almost 9 pm and I gave him a bath at 7 and he’s still up! I’ve lost my mind

Do you guys have the Wonder Weeks app? I know we just finished our second leap, my son is 2 months 12 days, he was 10 weeks on Friday. It’s SUPER helpful to know about developmental leaps that effect their mood and sleep habits!

I’m in the same boat! 10 weeks- will only nap for 30 min and then wakes herself up even when swaddled. Even throughout the night its been horrible! She will sleep like an angel on me 🤦🏼‍♀️ what gives!?

Since they fall asleep on you easily have you tried putting them down on their belly to sleep? My Lo wont fully sleep unless he’s on his belly and he sleeps through the night a total of 6-8 hrs only waking once to feed. Even his naps during the day are on his belly. The only reason I tried belly sleeping is because he would fall asleep on me so easily and then when I put him on his back for naps or bed time he wouldn’t sleep more than 30 or hr and he’d be crying for hrs cause he was tired. I know your not supposed to put them on their bellies but if they have good head control I see no problem.

No. Mine takes cat naps. Unless she’s super tired , she will sleep anywhere from 30 min to 2 hours. 🤷🏼‍♀️
