Do girls get anything for their boyfriends on Valentine’s Day?

This is my first relationship and first valentine or whatever. I wanna get him something but idk. I also don’t know what I should get him if anything. I may have gone overboard for Christmas but it was also our 6 month anniversary. I got him a Love Book (super cool idea if any of you wanna check it out!) but he got me a photo frame and a mug. I feel like I did too much and feel embarrassed by it. Idk either way I don’t wanna go overboard. But I don’t wanna fall short. Would it be bad to not get him anything? I’m not trying to make it about gifts but I don’t wanna feel embarrassed again.

Any suggestions?
