I don’t think you’re being rude at all. I told my husband he has to tell his family they are absolutely not allowed to post any pictures of her when she’s born. We don’t want her to have a presence really on social media.

My sister in law didn’t want pictures shared when she had her first baby either. She’d post his little feet and hands but that was it. Of course I’d already had saw him and had pictures, but she asked for them not to be shown. I always respected her wishes because she’s mom 🤷🏻‍♀️
But now she has 3 kids and shares them all lol I think it’s fine for moms to ask for privacy and for family to not post pictures 😊

I feel like using all caps and a bunch of exclamation points makes it come off as rude. We simply said “Please do not post anything about our baby on Facebook or social media.”
