The right time?

When can I start putting desitin on my baby she’s about to be a month on the 20th and seems to be getting a rash. This is my first girl (1st child was a boy) so I wanna avoid getting it in her vagina right?

I used A&D at about a month. It’s gentler than destin. So you can start off with that.

I think it’s okay. My baby got a rash at like two weeks old because he was pooping so often and my pediatrician gave me some diaper cream samples to use. 
Also try to let her air out a little before you use it (if you can!)

I always put some on the diaper directly then put it on my daughter. I’m a germaphobe so I personally don’t like to touch her directly
