Ttc after chemical faint tests

I took a reds yesterday and it was a positive. Look another today and it’s fainter. Does it mean I’ve lost it or could it be that the test is just cheaper? Due period today but can sometimes be few days late for me anyways - I have laser hair removal tomorrow so trying to figure out if should cancel or not as not safe for pregnancy
