I’m currently pregnant and my oldest will be 18 months when the baby is born. Of course the baby will be sleeping in a bassinet next to me for the first few months, but with my first he outgrew the bassinet by eight weeks and slept in the crib right around the corner from our room so I could hear him at night.

I’m trying to figure out if I should try to transition my oldest into a toddler bed so that I can use his crib when the baby comes or if I should just get a pack and play for the new baby. Is 18 months too young for a toddler bed? Need suggestions
