My period stopped on depo?

Ok so the last 2 shots I got on depo affected my period by making it longer. But I’m on my third shot and my period is late by a month. I took a pregnancy test and it came up negative, but I’m just wondering if it’s normal for periods to just suddenly stop on depo?

Yes, completely normal. Part of the irregular bleeding side effect of progestin only methods, like depo, is no bleeding/longer time frames with no bleeding.

Yes it’s normal to stop periods! I was on depo shot for 5 years and never in does 5 years got a period!!!
