Azoospermia diagnosis

Hey guys! So my husband and I found out a out a year ago he has azoospermia. Bummer right?

Well we took about a year off of TTC to process all the emotions with this diagnosis. And the back and forth of using a sperm donor. Well this year we are proceeding with the donor process, I turn 31 in August and hope to try iui by then.

I'm wondering if you guys have been in this situation, took some time away and now jabe decided to use a donor. What's your experience?
