Back in October, my mom saw her gyno for a transvaginal ultrasound due to heavy bleeding. They found a polyp in her uterus and her doctor did a hysteroscopy. After the biopsy, my mom’s doctor said the polyp was cancerous, but only grade 1. She still highly recommended that my mom get a hysterectomy. So, my mom had her hysterectomy last week. After my mom’s surgery, her doctor did find another cancerous polyp (grade 1 and not aggressive) in her ovary during the hysterectomy, but both of her ovaries were removed, and the doctor said her lymph nodes were clear! I’m just so happy! She’s only 52 and she has a lot of life left to live. I don’t know what I would do without her! We do almost everything together and I would be completely lost without her. She still has to see me graduate with a masters degree and get married! ❤️❤️❤️
