Hi ladies! So I’ve had my IUD in for a week now and at first the cramps were bad and then subsided, but now since I’ve started college again and am walking all around campus every day, my cramps and bleeding are worse.

Now I’m not bleeding a lot, I’d still consider it spotting, just heavier than what it was.

But my question is, how long did your cramps and bleeding last after insertion? I feel like I can’t concentrate during class or on my homework because I’m just so uncomfortable (even though I’m taking ibuprofen to help).

If your cramps and bleeding lasted a while, what did you do to help them while working, attending class, or just going out and doing any activities that required a little more activity?
