If I wanted to take things slow...

If I were planning on taking things slow and I kissed him ten days after meeting him, is that taking it slow?? (Well, it was more than a kiss. But we didn’t have sex. We just made out, he kissed my neck and also touched my boobs). Is that taking it extremely fast?! I think it is and he says that it’s not taking it too fast🙄
