Metronidazole Vaginal Gel

I have used this before for a yeast infection and my doctor prescribed it to me for a bacteria imbalance. My question is can I use this more than once a day so that I’ll be able to have sex on Friday night? (My boyfriend and I are going away together) The instructions say use every night for 5 nights, but if I use it during the day too shouldn’t I be fine? For example I use it once tonight, twice tomorrow, and twice the next day.
