Implanon

I had the implanon in my arm for 2 and 1/2 years. It's now going on 6 months without and still no baby. If I knew it was going to take this long I would've started a long time ago with trying. It's to the point that I cant believe I'm not pregnant because we are having sex so much. Is anyone else having this problem any tips to get me pregnant.
