How effective is a membrane sweep?

FTM 38+3 doc did a membrane sweep on me been cramping since I got it done I hope it works I want my princess here already he said if i don’t go into labor by next week I have to get induced I want to go all natural so I’m praying it works 🤞🏽

Had one today at 38+5. Baby is at -1, a stretchy 1cm and 70% effaced. Hoping my false labor that I have had almost 5 weeks now turns real. They gave option to induce next week if I want but I feel selfish even though I really am tempted

I had one at 38 weeks. Lost small chunks of my mucus plug 3 days later. Had another sweep at 39 weeks and nothing yet. I’ll be 40 weeks tomorrow so we’ll see at my appointment where things are at. We have an induction set for 41 weeks exactly just in case he doesn’t come on his own.
