Yes it will get darker. Hcg doubles every 2 days, so it is still low at 12dpo, I had a very faint line at 14dpo and it didn't darken until 16dpo. Congratulations!

Some women don't even see a line 12dpo. Test again in two days should most definitely be darker. You should go get a blood test as well.
