Table Food Trouble

My 9 month old is having troubles with table food. Its probably my fault since I waited so long to make the change but anyway. Every time I try to give her something like eggs, mushed bananas, toast, ect. She gags, badly. It scares the shit out of me and I stop giving it to her. I know gagging in normal but hers seems wel, not normal. She is great with chewing and she always ends up gagging and choking.. Any suggestions?

(My first born passed away so I'm a little more paranoid than a usual first time mom)
