Did you post about your early MC on social media?

I have not shared, but I think once I have a rainbow baby I might want to share about my loss on social media. I don’t want the attention, but I do want ladies to know they’re not alone. Anytime I have seen someone post about their loss, it has made me feel less alone. So I’m debating posting or not posting.

I posted but not until later. I posted in October but my miscarriages were in December of the year before (only 4.5 weeks) and May (8 weeks). I partly did it because I was sick of hearing comments and questions about why we weren't having kids yet, but mainly to show others they weren't alone. I had 5 people send me private messages saying they had miscarriages as well and it helped to see someone else was in the same place (all 5 were not people I am very close to, my close friends I had already told). 
This was the wording and photo I used:

I don't need a day set aside to remember you... I think about you daily and wonder who you would have been.
I don't often share intimate details of my life on social media. I didn't have the words to share publicly what I was going through this year, it was too hard to talk about. Many people don't know that I have suffered 2 miscarriages, one in December and one in May. I never imagined how it would feel to go from such joy and excitement for their futures, to realizing that those hopes and dreams would never come true.
The reality is that my story is not very unique. There are so many out there that carry similar pain to mine, some openly and some silently. My heart goes out to all of you today. Today I remember all the lost babies, not just my own. ❤💙❤💙❤💙

I didn’t. Nobody knows I was even pregnant. I experienced loss at 11 weeks right before I would have announced. It definitely made me feel like if I get pregnant again I’ll probably announce early because I wish I had more of a support system right now, and I’m too embarrassed and sad to tell anybody what happened.

I didn’t. Some people still don’t even know that I have had my babies and they didn’t make it. For me, the thought of people constantly texting me about it bothers me. I know what I went through was terrible. I just don’t want the whole world texting or calling me all at once. I can’t handle it.

I've been talking about it with a few people but I haven't said anything on social media, because we were at my mother in-law's house during transitioning to our new house. She becomes a big drama queen and I had my own emotions to deal with. But my sisters in law have been wonderful. To be honest it's nice (I feel for myself) to talk about it out loud it's really helped me process my feelings.

I did. It is a very individual thing for sure. It was helpful for my healing personally to feel that my baby was *known* about. I only have family and friends that I know in RL on my facebook.

I didn’t with either of my losses. I was not ashamed or embarrassed, I just try to keep our really personal lives personal. I have thought about it many times, and even thought of making our announcement ‘rainbow baby’ themed, but I didn’t. I think I will on national child and pregnancy loss day, which is in October.

I shared with our private ladies group for our Church on Facebook, but I didn't make a public announcement. Sharing with those ladies helped me significantly since it brought out the women in our congregation that have lost little ones too. ❤️
