Bleeding after 3 weeks?!

So I had my son 3 weeks ago this Monday.. I was lying down and when I stood up I had a big gush of brown colored discharge. I only bled for 4 days after my section. Do you this this could be my period already? Anyone else have this?

It's all normal. I'm 2 week post c-section and just had my incision check and they said you could have days of nothing and then suddenly a few days of clots. They said it could be like this for up to 6 weeks. My dr also said it could be triggered if you are more active than normal as well.

The same thing happened to me today! I was just about to post and ask about it. I'm 2weeks and 1 day post op (c section) and my bleeding has been completely stop for 5-6 days now. Then this after noon I go to the bathroom to pee (TMI) and there is this huge blood clot and I'm pouring blood again! Is this normal? Is this my period?

I've had similar experiences since having my c-section 3 weeks ago. The Dr said its normal to have nothin for a while and then a gush here and there for a while afterward. It makes being prepared a bit harder, but expect it for up to 6 weeks.
