Any advice on how to tell partner we miscarried?

I miscarried today at 4 wks and 3 days. So not far along or anything. I’m ok and have accepted it but my husband on the other hand is very sensitive. He doesn’t know I got a positive hpt the other day so he doesn’t know I was pregnant. He does know that I started bleeding last night. This morning I passed an intact “clot”. Confirmed with my dr that I did in fact miscarry. 
My husband just started a new job this week. We don’t keep stuff from each other - we are very open and honest. 
I’m considering not telling him only because I don’t want to burden him with something he can’t change. Idk. Any advice or thoughts on whether or not to tell him or how to tell him?

I think tell him. Unfortunately miscarriage is a common and normal part of trying to conceive. There is nothing to be ashamed of and you shouldn’t be the only one.

So sorry to hear about the loss. Just make sure he know this isnt the end. Just a bit more time of the 2 of you in love and your new addition will come later.

Definately tell him! Regardless of how early you were it's still a loss, something you both need to come to terms with! Put yourself in the opposing shoes, would you want him to tell you something similar or keep it to himself to save your feelings? It is hard to know what to say and it is your body going through this ordeal but at the same time it's part of him too! Hope you are okay tho 💙

Sorry your going through this. I to went through this yesterday morning. 3days before my 12th week. U really should tell him for support...i thought i was coping ok yesterday (must of been shock) my oh has been back at work today and its sank in and been emotinal and with out him here its been a lot worse.
