Positive Induction Stories?

My doctor has given me the option to schedule being induced. I’ve only heard bad stories of very long labors, swelling, and overall just not good things. 
Does anyone have positive stories to share? Were you induced? 
My first labor was hard but fast. I started contractions at 12pm and was holding my (9lb+) son by 7pm.

I was induced with my first and it went great, about 12 hours of labor but was never hard labor. Will be getting induced this time around too. I’m a huge at planning everything so it just feels better for me to be out at ease knowing the day I’ll go in.

I was induced with both and had no more problems than someone that went naturally. They were long but I used pain management to help things along. My doctor just scheduled me for an induction for 3/22 today and i cannot wait!

I was induced at 39+5 for high blood pressure. Got to the hospital around 12:30, dr broke my water around 2-3ish started pitocin around 3-4ish, epidural came when I was dialated to a 4(I think). Started pushing around 8:45 and had baby at 10:19. Super easy birth/labor. Obviously the contractions hurt really bad, but overall super happy with the whole result.

I was induced twice and honestly was not that bad at all. Maybe long and walking lots but nothing horrible. I had an epidural and was able to sleep.

I was induced at 37weeks with my first due to IUGR. Started cervidil at 8pm, didn’t work. 8am they broke my water and started pitocin with no epidural and BANG contractions were back to back with no relief. Got an epidural an hour later, slept the rest of the day. My son was born at 5:55pm and had breathing issues so he was taken to the NICU for a few days. Labor was not bad but I would avoid inducing unless absolutely necessary.

I was induced due to preeclampsia - my body took well to cervadil (med given) but my son was not ready to be born - he had not dropped yet. I was in labor for 16 hours, 3.5 hours of pushing and he wouldn’t come down. Ended in an emergency CSection. In my opinion - DONT get induced if you can help it!
