What the health?

Skank

Ok guys I’m not one to go ahead and start debates.. but here goes..

If you haven’t watched it already.. I highly suggest watching this documentary on Netflix. I’m 2/3 into it right now and sick to my stomach that these foundations and organizations promote foods linked to the diseases they’re supposed to be preventing.

These programs are being sponsored by companies that are linked directly to the cause.. its crazy!

Profits mean more than peoples health..

It’s like the American Lung association promoting cigarettes. Serving chicken at a diabetes event is like serving alcohol at an AA meeting. It just doesn’t make sense.

We are getting our dietary recommendations from the very industries that are killing us.

Anyone already watch this?

Anyone have any input?

And GO!

My input is the documentary is bs. Sure some things are truthful but it’s not an eye opening film for me and it’s very biased. No thanks.

I think the interactions with both the hospital representative and the interview with the (I think diabetes association???) rep were staged and BS for sure

That’s such a bad comparison omg. Yes, there are plenty of problems with food lobbying in the US, but that film crosses the line into its own kind of propaganda.

I agree. I watched it and realized it was aimed towards promoting a vegan diet and cutting out animal/animal by-products all together!

Yeah that film is the same amount of garbage as Vaxxed. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Whats wrong with serving chicken at a diabetes event? Is that a typo? Chicken is a lean, healthy meat

How is serving fried chicken to diabetics as bad as serving alcohol at an aa meeting? That literally makes no sense, I mean yeah fried foods are bad but the references should’ve been candy bars and stuff like that. Not fried chicken. Plus is this documentary even based on actual facts and not just biased opinions? Because it seems like it is extremely biased just from what you’re saying.

I watched it a while back and it really did get me thinking more about nutrition and what I eat. There are certain companies I won’t buy from but I decided on that a while ago. The worst part about it is that a lot of those companies are buying out organic companies or companies that use clean ingredients and then changing them to cheaper recipes or ingredients so that people will continue to buy the products. There are a few I used to buy that I don’t anymore because they don’t work as well or they added things I try to stay away from.

I saw it a while ago. It was basically about how all meat, including fish, is really bad for you, and you need to eat a vegan diet. It’s just propaganda.
