Cartilage piercings still hurt. 1.5yrs later

I got these at the same time, a year and a half ago. I’ve cleaned and cared for them exactly how I should. I avoided laying on that side for 8months to a year. They were done by hand (not using a gun) in a professional tattoo/piercing shop. They are not red or irritated. There are no bumps

BUT THEY STILL HURT! (Mainly #2) Will they just never stop hurting? Should I abandon ship and take them out? I just want to be able to lay on that side comfortably at night. Sometimes I can, sometimes I can’t at all.
