Early Gender Scan Experiences?

Hi everyone so I'm a size 22, and I have an appointment scheduled with a private ultrasound place for an early Gender scan at 14 weeks and I'm a little worried that because of my size they won't be able to tell what baby is. I'm extra worried because in my excitement we sent out invites for our Reveal party the same day. Any other plus size mamas have experience with this? TIA

I’m a size 24 and they were able to tell at 13 weeks that it was a little boy, your weight won’t be a problem.

I’m a bigger girl, size 18/20, and was able to confirm the gender at 13w5d! I did early bloodwork so I knew at 11w2d but wanted to confirm visually. No problems at all!

I’m a size 20, 5’3” haven’t had an issue with ultrasounds at all - I’ve had frequent abdominal ultrasounds since 11 weeks and they’ve all been fine. 
Visibility shouldn’t be an issue. BUT baby might be too small OR not positioned well to get gender. Out of 5 ultrasounds, my baby was only well positioned once for gender. I hope your child is less stubborn!
