Only see my boyfriend a couple times a week 2-3xs the most. because I go to school and he works graveyard then has his family business to do during the day. He works on scooters for side money so it’ll be his personal one OR a customers.

On our days there’s sometimes he decides to work on a scooter when he knows I’ll be coming over to spend time with him, and sometimes I’ll get upset only because he’ll have me over waiting for him for hours to actually hang out. I’ll ask if he’s done he’ll say almost which always means anther hour or 2.

And the way I take it is that if I’m there to spend time w/ him than I wouldn’t like him working on scooters bc that takes away our time. Though riding motorcycles & scooters are his passion I will never be selfish to tell him to stop riding & building but you ladies think it’s to much to ask for just to put that aside when I’m there at his house to see him?

He’ll sometimes just work on his personal ones when Im there and id get mad bc it’s like you have all the time to do this and then when I come over you want to work on something you can do later? When I tell him I feel like he puts his ride/scooter life before me he doesn’t really seem to understand that effect it’s been 4 years since we’ve been together, I ride scooters w/ now and i t has gotten a little better but i don’t think he understands that effect me when he chooses to work on something when i come over to hang out
