How long did you wait to say I love you to your boyfriend/girlfriend?

Before we started dating by a few days. We had started as friends, then escalated to semi-fwb (lots of foreplay but no actual sex), then he said it then asked me out and I said it back and said yes :)

I had said it to my (husband now) when we were sitting there (after a few weeks of not leaving each other at all.) on the chair.. I looked him in his eyes and said I and he finished it.. I knew :)

About 4 or 6 weeks I think. Except I didn't hear him when he said it so he was all depressed! Did that over again the next day though and heard him, lol! That was about 3 years ago :)

me and my fiancee said I love you to eachother and we went even dating yet . But we wanted to its just we were both to chicken to ask eachother out untill I got on his fb and changed his relationship status from single to in a relationship. I think you should say I love you when you truely mean it and want them to know you love them. Don't say I love you if you don't mean it. You have to really truely mean it

We waited like 9 months, and I don't regret it :) I'm glad we waited a long time because (although it was hard because I knew I loved him) there was no pressure to have sex and love isn't used as a tool in fights and even when we are being jerks, we know we love each other because we waited so long and we really know its a special thing and we weren't calling lust love.
