I’m so freaking sick of people telling us to get on food stamps or “just apply for Medicaid”. I’m not bashing anyone who has to use it but I was not raised to take handouts and we don’t need it we do perfectly fine without it 🙄 just because I “could” get it doesn’t mean I should. The main people saying this is a friend who’s husband works for his dad and his mom LIES about how much he gets paid 🙄

Update: we DO have insurance and CAN afford it.

Food stamps and Medicaid are technically a “handout” if you don’t actually need them....
