Peeing through diapers?

Question

Any other July ‘18 moms having an issue with their boys peeing through or out the top/sides of the diapers? I’ve tried sizing up, different brands, and even doubling diapers for the night. I always make sure his bits are pointing down when I do the diaper up, but we still end up having to do a wardrobe change. 
Any tips??

We have/had  this problem. I found it easier to just change him every time he wake up, since he wake up at 2, 4:30, and 8:30. It also helps with those occasional diaper blowouts if the diaper isn’t over full with pee. I don’t take him out of his crib when I change him in his crib while I give him a bottle

We upped a size and did overnight diapers. No more leaks. That was when he was waking up 2-3 times a night and eating. (He’s a stomach sleeper) but now he sleeps through the night again.

We had this problem until we weaned night feedings. We still put him in Up and Up brand night diapers just in case but he's yet to have a single leak since weaning the night feedings. Before that his diaper leaked EVERY night no matter what (doubling, different brands....just like all the things you tried too).

I noticed this happens if we feed him to close to bed time (happened last night) I always Change him right before bed but if he eats to much before sleep it’s all just waiting to come out at night! Glad it’s not just my boy this is happening with. Huggies seem to do great for us though, since we started using that brand it’s been less frequent like once every couple weeks cause they absorb and hold so well
