Video games

Ladies,

Am I the only one who gets extremely annoyed with my boyfriend when he plays video games for hours? It’s not that I don’t want him to have time to himself but I feel shut out. We had plans to play board games and got snacks and drinks and then he says he’ll be playing video games for the rest of the night. We hadn’t even started our night yet and I feel blown off. I don’t want to be unreasonable/controlling but it gets me heated. Anyways i guess I’m looking for advice for how to look at it from a different perspective.
